Silver And Gold Eye Earrings

I stamped the impression of an Eye stamp into moist Precious metal silver clay. I used a triangular stencil to cut around the Eye to give it definition. After firing in the kiln I burnished the central circle with 24K Gold foil, a process called Keum boo. The surrounding part I painted with patina to get the lovely blues, greens and copper color colors.

These petite earrings are very arresting in appearance.

Dimensions : 3/4 inch X 3/4 inch. Sterling silver ear wires. These can be switched to comfortable sterling silver clip ons for an additional charge.
