This Star of David Pendant almost has a Lacy design around it which is so delicate like an inclusive ring. The baile from which it hangs has little gold balls on it.
It starts out as a ball of silver clay. I roll out the clay to the required thickness and impress it into the texture which is so appealing. After the clay dries it is refined and smoothed. After that I attached the decorative Baile and the small balls of silver clay.
It was fired in a kiln for 2 hours at 1650 degrees F. What came out was pure 999 silver. I burnished 24K Gold foil onto the design and the part of the Baile and the little silver balls. This is an ancient Korean technique called Keum boo. I painted patina on it for added color.
Dimensions: Diameter including the Baile around 2 inches. Sterling silver snake chain 18 inches
