I used a Celtic design stamp to impress onto moist Precious metal silver clay. After firing I burnished half the design with 24K gold foil. I painted the other half with patina. The burnishing with gold foil causes the gold to fuse to the pure silver, a process called Keum boo. The patina came out in beautiful copper, blues and purples. I affixed the medallion to a cuff made of what is called Dutch silver. It is not real silver but has the advantage of not tarnishing.
The cuff is quite striking and non denominational. I imagine it could be worn by anyone.
Dimensions : The medallion is about an inch square. The cuff is 6 inches but is open in the back so should fit any wrist.
