Pure Silver Seahorse Pendant

I pressed the seahorse design into moist silver clay to make this small Seahorse pendant. The seahorse is such a shy elusive creature hiding in the greenery of the ocean, you really have to look for it even at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

After kiln firing I burnished it with 24K gold foil. This process is called Keum Boo. After that I painted the pendant sparingly with patina.

It is a lovely little pendant, dear to the heart of ocean lovers.
