Pink Crescent Moon Pure Silver Pendant

This is a pendant I made in an Alcohol Inks and Resins class with Pat Evans at Creator Haven.

Two layers of textured Silver Clay were sandwiched together. The upper layer had a design cut into it using various patterned templates. A decorative Baile was created to hold a chain to hang the pendant.

After the Silver Clay was fired and polished in the tumbler, alcohol ink and resin of different colors were dropped into the wells created by this design. This was done in several layers, drying the layers each time in a UV light box. After all the layers were completed and dried a sterling silver chain was added.

I love the color combination of blue, purple, pink and fuchsia.
