I textured strips of copper by passing them through a mechanical corrugating machine. The strips came out looking like pieces of bamboo. I filed, sanded and polished them to make them smooth. Then I scrubbed them to prepare for enameling. I enameled one side with clear transparent enamel which allowed the lovely orange of copper to show through. I used a transparent burgundy color on the other side.
When you change the position of the ear wire you can have an entirely different pair of earrings as far as color goes. This makes them versatile for 2 different outfits. A two-for-one deal in a sense.
Dimensions: 2 and a half inches long, almost half an inch across. The sterling silver ear wires can be switched to comfortable sterling silver clip-ons, for an additional charge.
