Japanese Waves Silver Gold

This is a favorite Japanese pattern from one of my books. I first etched this pattern in copper, then in silver. I use my copper etch as a texture to make 999 silver earrings. After kiln firing what emerges is pure 999 silver earrings. I burnish these with 24K Gold foil to fuse silver and gold, a process called Keum Boo. I paint the waves with patina to give me these beautiful blues and greens.

Dimensions: I inch diameter. Sterling silver ear wires. These can be switched to comfortable sterling silver clip ons for an additional charge.
