Japanese Maple Leaf Earrings Silver Gold

I gathered these maple leaves off my neighbor's tree. They are small, delicate and lovely. I imprinted these into moist Precious metal clay, cut them out carefully and dried them. After drying I refined them and smoothed them with a flexible sanding pad and fired them in the kiln. They were then burnished with 24K Gold foil, a process called Keum boo and painted slightly with patina.

They are so lovely I already sold the other pair I made. They are youthful and a wonder of nature.

Dimensions : 1 and 1/4 inch long x 1 and 1/4 inch wide. Sterling silver ear wires. These can be switched to comfortable sterling silver clip ons for an additional charge.
