I had etched this Eagle in copper and used it as a template for a lovely pair of Earrings made using silver clay. The powerful Eagle has been a symbol of strength in cultures all over the world. In Egypt it is associated with Gods and Goddesses signifying power and protection, strength and leadership.
After drying and refining the sliver clay pair of earrings they were fired in the kiln for 2 hours at 1650 degrees F. I burnished 24K Gold Foil onto the pure silver following an ancient Korean technique called Keum Boo. I then painted on patina for color contrast.
Dimensions : 3/4 inch X over 1/4 inch. Sterling Silver Lever back ear wires. These can be switched to comfortable Sterling Silver clip ons for an additional charge.
