I used some personal Indian jewelry as a stamp to press into Precious metal silver clay to achieve the design. I cut out the design using a small blade then let it dry. I refined the edges using flexible sanding pads. I affixed a pure silver bezel onto the base of the earring in the hollow created for it using syringe clay and allowed it to dry. The edges were refined and smoothed again.
After coming out of the kiln I had pure 999 silver earrings. I burnished 24K Gold foil onto the earrings on different areas for contrast. I painted on patina in different areas for contrast.
I tapped in and secured the blue sapphire lab cabochons into the bezel.
This multi metal look is gorgeous, Indian looking, but contemporary and would Wow any occasion.
