Diamond Shield earrings

I was thinking of the sorts of shields used by Roman soldiers when making these earrings. Armor at that time was very decorative and quite elaborate. These earrings are relatively simple in comparison. They have a Chequered square in the center surrounded by diamond shapes and circles. The stamped texture was created on Precious metal silver clay while moist. After being fired in the kiln the earrings were burnished with 24K Gold foil and accented with patina. 

Dimensions: 1 and 1/4 inch in diameter. Sterling silver ear wires. These can be switched to comfortable sterling silver clip ons for an additional charge.
