The dragon texture is on a small decorative copper samovar I have. I made a mold of this, modified it and pressed the Precious metal clay into the mold. This is actually an elongated bead with a scene of a Chinese landscape on the opposite side using a stamp I have. Before firing in the kiln. a bead has to be pierced, so that it does not explode in the kiln. After firing, the two sides were burnished with 24K Gold and painted with patina for accent. I inserted silver wire in the holes in the bead and made a baile for the chain.
This is a one of kind pendant which can be worn on either side.
Dimensions: 1 and 1/2 inches long X 1 inch. Sterling silver box chain 18 inches.
