Dichroic Red Glass Pendant

This is red dichroic glass embraced in 2 layers of pure 999 textured silver. It was created using Precious Metal clay with the glass peeking out from the center. The baile was also made using Precious metal clay in coil form. After kiln firing, 24K Gold foil was burnished on to half the piece and patina painted on the other half. This was submitted as a studio piece for Open Studios  and sold.

PLEASE NOTE: I am able to make another one that will be similar but not identical since I start from scratch with every piece.

I was very happy with the way this pendant turned out. It was quite stunning.
