Celtic patterned cuff with copper on brass. The copper was cut out using a jeweler's saw. The flat copper was filed and smoothed and then soldered onto the brass strip. The brass strip had been cut, filed and smoothed prior to the soldering. I accented the design with hammer texture. The piece was then polished.
This was time consuming but fun to put together. I was preparing for a class where I would be working with sterling silver but wanted to practice with copper and brass. It turned out that this was also quite challenging but it taught me a lot in the process.
Dimensions almost 6 and 1/4 inches long and a little over an inch wide. Since it is an open cuff it will fit most wrists.
I would say this is a gender neutral cuff.
