Alladin’s Lamps And Stars Earrings

These earrings were etched from a pattern in one of my design books. 

I printed the design on blue PNP paper which I then burnished onto hot sterling silver sheet. The sterling silver was floated in an acid bath which was agitated for an hour. The sheet was neutralized in an alkaline bath and water. The sheet was soaked in a solution to remove the blue PNP paper.

It was then depletion gilded to force the pure silver to rise to the surface.
