3 Hoop Pure Silver Chrysanthemum Petal Texture Earrings

A friend saw a pair of 4 Hoop earrings I make, which are very popular. She requested a custom pair with only 3 Hoops, no Gold Foil, Keum boo style and no patina.

The hoops were individually made one at a time, using silver clay cut outs in oval shapes. The hoops were fired in a 1650 F kiln for 2 hours after drying and refining. They were linked together with large jump rings. Lever backs were used instead of ear wires. The advantage of lever backs is that they clip close so that the ear wire cannot fall out of the ear lobe.

They were dangly and shiny when she tried them on. They were just the right height for her. She said they would now be her favorite earrings!
