I pressed the texture of a cross into Precious metal silver clay. Cutting the cross out was a delicate process since I wanted to get all the detail without pulling or stretching the moist clay. I created a silver Baile from the clay so the cross could be hung when it came out of the kiln.
Crosses are religious symbols and in addition they are beautiful and artistic.
When the pure 999 silver Cross was taken out of the kiln I burnished portions of it with 24K Gold foil and painted a small amount of patina on it for accent.
I put it on a sterling silver 16 " neck wire.
