The Egyptian Horus symbol was printed on a transfer. The copper piece was scrubbed clean to accept enamel and enameled with a pale yellow opaque enamel. After cooling the transfer was peeled and placed on the copper. After drying completely it was placed in the kiln. The transfer paper burned off leaving the impression of the winged bird on the opaque enamel.
The opposite side was enameled with golden clear and some glass beads to give it an unusual texture.
The idea was to have a two for one pendant with different colors for different outfits.
