A Celtic knot pattern was pressed into silver metal clay. I did not texture the background so that the Celtic knot could be the main focus. I made a smaller textured dangle to add to the larger piece.
Both pieces were kiln fired and burnished with 24K gold foil. This is a gilding process is called Keum Boo. The elements were accented with patina. The smaller piece was dangled from the larger piece.
This is a simple pendant that could be worn every day.
